Classes

At Grafton School we provide a variety of classes for all our parents, these are both educational and social.

All of the classes we provide are well attended and most parents comment on how much they enjoy our classes and how much they gain from them.

What we offer

We offer ESOL classes (English for speakers of other languages) every Monday and Thursday these classes help our parents to gain a greater understanding of the English language. They are accredited courses which mean that some of our parents go on to further education, some go on to get jobs.

We also offer weekly sewing classes every Friday.

These classes are a fantastic opportunity to learn a new skill. Some of the parents attend just because they enjoy the social aspect of the class it is an opportunity to meet and chat to friends. Other parents have joined the class because they want to improve their dress-making skills and want to go on to study fashion and design.

The school also runs a Turkish GCSE class this is for children and parents. This course has been running for many years and we are proud to say that we have a fantastic pass rate in this subject many of our entrants pass with A*s.

This is such an amazing opportunity to pass a GCSE before you leave primary school!

The school also offers Turkish Maths classes for parents, these are held every Wednesday

We are continually offering new classes indeed we recently ran a course for our reception and nursery parents called firm foundations a literacy course designed to help your child in literacy during their early years.
